I personally have found that more people have better relationship with food they do with their spouse.

It’s a dysfunctional relationship at best.

Statistic shows that 75% of men have cheated on their wives and 60% of wives have cheated on their husbands. So you not losing the weight you want and you expect me to believe you’re not cheating on a lifestyle with food?

There have been studies that have linked certain preservatives in processed foods that can stimulate the same part of the brain as the feeling of cuddling after sex.

Gives a new meaning to the term comfort food.

 

All about mindset

Really it’s all about mindset and perception.

Too many people view the word “diet” as a negative connotation associated with restriction and we do NOT want to be restricted from anything.

Think of marriage (yes I’m going here), we have party’s to celebrate a person’s last day of freedom before they tie the knot and are off the market. Or when someone goes on a diet they have one last bender or free for all. This just further fuels our way of thinking that “Oh hell, I’m about to no longer be able to do (whatever you want insert here) so I may as well get it all out of my system now” fear of restriction and abstainment (I think I just made that word up).

We’ve all thought it, its human.

From my experience as soon as we have to reeducated a person about proper foods to eat to avoid weight gain or to accelerate fat loss the first thing they always ask: “So can I have…?”

Now the kicker is they probably never wanted it in the first place and would never even had thought about it if you didn’t bring it up but as soon as we started talking meal plan then they instantly start thinking and craving all the things they can’t have.

Basic human psychology, we want what we can’t have.

That is where the mistake happens, thinking we can’t have it.

 

Instead do this.

Instead of thinking of “OMG, I can’t have….!?” think of it as a choice.

“I chose NOT to have this.”

It may seem cheesy but when your mindset it shifted over towards this type of thought process then we find that people begin to crave those perceived foods less and less.

Remember guys you CAN have whatever you want, no one is stopping you, and instead you must view it as a choice to abstain from the craving. This is a very powerful thought process that I have seen make the fat loss process a LOT easier for people.

You know that you can have banana split with extra chocolate sauce, sprinkles, double serving of whip cream… ok you get the point, but you know what it will do to the body and how it can just about absolve a entire week’s worth of effort in the gym.

So it’s a CHOICE not to have it, not a restriction.

Everything starts with the mindset, change the way you look at the dieting process and I can guarantee that you’ll find it’s a lot easier to drop the bodyfat.
